Easter Chocolates

Easter is a very special time of year and helps us herald in the spring that winter has created so much want for! Below are items which we think will compliment your holiday and will be suitable for any Easter basket.

When is Easter in 2012?

Christian churches that follow the Gregorian calendar celebrate Easter on the first Sunday after the paschal full Moon on or just after the vernal equinox. For simplicity, the equinox is considered March 21. The paschal full Moon always falls on the 14th day of a lunar month; because ancient calculations did not take into account certain lunar motions, this date may be slightly off from the astronomical full Moon date. In 2012 Easter is on April 8.

Happy Easter Eggs

We love making these Easter Eggs! First we chocolate coat an Easter egg mold with 5 layers of chocolate, a time consuming process. After the two sides are made we remove the eggs from their molds and then fill with our handmade chocolates and seal the two sides with chocolate and decorate them with piped Chocolate, another fun process! A chocolate round is then made and adhered to the egg with more chocolate so the egg will stand! Due the the fragility of these eggs they are available in our shop for pickup only. 5 1/2 inches tall. Limited quantities, you may call ahead to purchase. Milk Eggs contains mini Milk Peanut Butter cups & caramels. Dark Chocolate Eggs contain assorted dark chocolates. $38 each

Solid Chocolate Bunny

We call this bunny our 'Wheel Barrow Bunny." He is a charming and sweet critter who is as fun to make as he is to eat!

He is molded in Belgian Chocolate and ornamented with a colorful bouquet of spring flowers.
